Major Account Executive
Basic Qualifications
* Seven years in system/solution sales within Danish Hi Tech accounts.
* Ideal candidates will bring with them a range of Internet industry-related contacts.
* Strong background in Internet infrastructure and/or enterprise solution software required.
* Seven or more years in working with key Systems Integrators and/or internet-based partners.
* Demonstrable and proven track record in over-achieving quarterly and annual quota.
* Must have strong knowledge of Internet and telecommunications concepts and demonstrate the ability to discuss them with intelligence and conviction.
* Experience in successfully executing complex sales cycles with key decision makers.
* Formal sales training a must: Solution-Selling and/or Value Selling training preferred.
* Must have high ethics, integrity, and humility and have a desire to be part of a world-class sales and support organization.
* BA/BS Degree.
Desired Qualifications
* Ability to sell IT/infrastructure solution offering as 'services' (cloud based).
* Ability to turn solutions and Akamai offerings into the proper Industry/customer value proposition (Know your customer, know customer’s pain point ...).
* Candidate should have long term experience with at least one of the mentioned software solutions: SAP (HR, CRM, BW), Netweaver, WebSphere, Sharepoint or CITRIX.
Proven experience/knowledge/understanding of the Enterprise (from Operations, Sales, Marketing, etc to IT).
* Candidate should have a background with at least one of the following solutions: Payment, PCI compliance or Internet Security.
* Knowledge of the Danish B2C
& B2B markets
* Knowledge of the Danish language
