Basic Qualifications

  • Seven years in system/solution sales within Danish Hi Tech accounts.
  • Ideal candidates will bring with them a range of Internet industry-related contacts.
  • Strong background in Internet infrastructure and/or enterprise solution software required.
  • Seven or more years in working with key Systems Integrators and/or internet-based partners.
  • Demonstrable and proven track record in over-achieving quarterly and annual quota.
  • Must have strong knowledge of Internet and telecommunications concepts and demonstrate the ability to discuss them with intelligence and conviction.
  • Experience in successfully executing complex sales cycles with key decision makers.
  • Formal sales training a must: Solution-Selling and/or Value Selling training preferred.
  • Must have high ethics, integrity, and humility and have a desire to be part of a world-class sales and support organization.
  • BA/BS Degree.

Desired Qualifications

  • Ability to sell IT/infrastructure solution offering as 'services' (cloud based).
  • Ability to turn solutions and Akamai offerings into the proper Industry/customer value proposition (Know your customer, know customer’s pain point ...).
  • Candidate should have long term experience with at least one of the mentioned software solutions: SAP (HR, CRM, BW), Netweaver, WebSphere, Sharepoint or CITRIX.
  • Proven experience/knowledge/understanding of the Enterprise (from Operations, Sales, Marketing, etc to IT).
  • Candidate should have a background with at least one of the following solutions:  Payment, PCI compliance or Internet Security.
  • Knowledge of the Danish B2C & B2B markets
  • Knowledge of the Danish language
