Senior Product Architect (Security)

Required Education and Experience:
*BS degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience

Required Skills:
* 5+ years of software architecture and design experience
* 2+ years in a customer facing role
* 2+ years in a leadership, management, or business oriented role
* 2+ years experience with C/C++ software development on Linux
* 2+ years with dynamic/scripting languages like Python and Javascript
* 2+ years hands-on experience with identity, entitlement, and/or content protection technologies and distributed systems

Desired Skills:
* Strong written and verbal communication and consensus-building skills
* Experience managing and leading engineering teams is welcome
* Ability to learn fast and adapt to a changing industry with moving requirements
* Experience with Media content workflow, including acquisition, encoding, streaming, DRM, metadata and rights
* Experience with adaptive bitrate protocols such as HLS and DASH
* Experience working with large scale distributed software systems (i.e. “the cloud”) 
* Experience with No-SQL Databases a plus (e.g. Couch DB, Cassandra).
* Experience with Internet protocols including HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP
