Senior Software Development Engineer in Test
Basic Qualifications
* Education: BS degree in computer
science, engineering, or a related field
* 7+ years of experience in software
testing, test automation or software development
* 5+ years of development experience
using Python, Perl, or another scripting language
* 5+ Hands-on experience with the Linux
or Unix operating environment
Desired Qualifications
* Meticulous attention to detail and
excellent debugging/troubleshooting skills
* Familiarity with a source control
system (git, perforce, stash)
* Hands-on experience with networking
applications (HTTP, rsync, )
* Experience programming automation
harnesses in Python
* Experience working with large scale
distributed systems
* Experience with NoSQL Databases
(Couch DB, Cassandra, Mongo)
* Experience working with and setting
up a CI build environment
* Experience debugging and benchmarking
Linux I/O or file systems
* Ability and passion to maintain high
quality standards, be self-motivated, a fast learner, and able to work
independently
