Technical Project Manager

Basic Qualifications

* Education: Bachelor's Degree in Media/Broadcast Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, other related field or equivalent experience.
* Minimum 2 years of overall experience in media production/streaming and/or IT industry.
* Minimum 2 years of experience in technical pre-sales/sales engineering, consulting, and/or other customer facing role consulting on, delivering technical products or services.
* Minimum 2 years of experience in Internet technologies, standards and protocols, including DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, Web architecture and design.
 
Desired Qualifications

* Experience working with streaming media formats such as HLS, HDS or DASH and/or transcoding of video and audio, codecs such as H.264 and H.265

* Experience working with client side technologies as HTML, JavaScript, CSS and Flash

* Experience working with Internet technologies, standards and protocols, including DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, web architecture and design.

* Experience with emerging technologies (UHD, VR/360°, WebRTC, etc.) streaming technologies a plus.

* Experience managing live streaming events

* Implementation experience with web delivery technologies.
* Detailed knowledge of broadcast/media technologies and considered a subject matter expert in any relevant internet topic.
* Experience delivering internet technologies within B2B or B2C – social media or streaming media sites (Live or On Demand) preferred

* Experience in a customer facing role requiring a high level of individual responsibility, sound business judgment and large enterprise account management, where an aptitude for improving customer satisfaction was successfully demonstrated.

* Experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Kanban, Waterfall) and tools for managing a mix of project based and transactional work (Jira, Active Collab, Pivotal Tracker, SalesForce, etc)
