Overview:
The Enterprise Leadership team seeks a capable, driven, self-directed administrative assistant to support its global operations based out of the Cambridge office. Primary job responsibilities will include providing support -- calendar, travel, expense, events, and major meetings -- for three Vice Presidents within the Enterprise team. The right candidate will be a quick learner who can communicate clearly, multi-task, and make sound discretionary judgments based on the information at hand. This position will report to the Executive Assistant of Platform and Enterprise Division, taking on special projects to both assist the Enterprise team and grow the individual’s capabilities. 

As an Administrative Assistant you will be responsible for: 
* Assisting with calendar management for the Vice President of Engineering, Vice President of Product Management, and CTO. Providing calendar and major meeting support these for these executives, including coordinating meetings requiring multiple executives and pro-actively resolving conflicts
* Travel arrangements for executives though Akamai’s partnered travel agency.
* Assisting with event planning and management, including scheduling all-hands and management meetings, managing room reservations across international offices, organizing team events, and handling catering and meal reservations.
* Filing expense reports for travel and other expenses in a timely and accurate fashion
* Taking departmental purchases from concept through payment, including facilitating legal and purchasing review of contracts, filing purchase orders, and receiving invoices for goods and services
* Assisting as needed and available with budget, office space allocation, and special projects within the division. 

About the Team:
Akamai's Enterprise Division is a dynamic group responsible for developing world class Enterprise Security, Identity, and Application Access products to enable customer Enterprise IT and Security teams. These solutions provide fast and reliable enterprise application access and help mitigate endpoint malware and phishing attempts in order to provide safer, easier, and faster security transformations. Ultimately, our goal is to secure, protect, and accelerate all Enterprise communications as a cloud gateway service. The division consists of our world class CTO Research and Development group, a vast engineering organization filled with experts in security and distributed systems, a robust product management organization, sales and technical pre-sales, product marketing, business development, and product support.  Additionally, we work closely with several other groups within Akamai as well as a network of security and performance-based partnerships and channels. 
Required Skills:
* 5 + years of relevant administrative experience (ideally within IT or Tech)
* 2 + years of experience supporting more than one executive concurrently  
* 2 + years of experience with Microsoft Office products, specifically Outlook.

* Strong written and verbal communication
* Ability to work with a variety of stakeholders, from executives and consultants to interns and other administrators; excellent discretion in handling sensitive information
* Excited by challenges; eager to learn new skills, vocabularies, and projects
* Able to handle competing priorities and make independent decisions
* Flexible and able to adapt quickly to shifting requirements from multiple directions
* Experience with Word, Excel and PowerPoint
