Agile Release Manager - Media

Required Education and Experience:
* 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelors degree or
* 6 years of relevant experience and a Masters degree

Required Skills
* 8+ years experience with release engineering or broad experience with the software development lifecycle.
* 8+ years experience working in a Linux/Unix environment.
* 5+ years experience using source control systems such as Perforce and GIT.
* 5+ years experience working with cross functional teams to accomplish software release goals.
* 5+ years of Agile/Scrum experience
* 5+ years experience with scripting languages (Perl or Python).
* 3+ years in direct people management

Desired Skills
* Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
* Ability to apply detail-oriented focus to quickly solve problems.
* Strong team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Experience with the Atlassian Tools such as JIRA/Confluence.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to apply detail-oriented focus to quickly solve problems.
* Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams (Engineering, QA, release management, network operations, product management, professional services, etc.).
* Strong organizational and leadership skills, and the ability to drive the day-to-day activities of internal resources.
* Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp new technologies.
* Must be action oriented, capable of multi-tasking well, and able to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
* Knowledge of Internet technologies (DNS, HTTP, streaming, web servers, etc.) a strong plus.
* Hands-on technical experience is a strong plus.
