Architect

Required Education and Experience:

Applicants must meet one of the following education and experience requirements:

* 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Systems, Information Systems, or its equivalent or

* 6 years of relevant experience and a Master’s degree in Computer Science, or its equivalent or

* 3 years of relevant experience and a PhD in Computer Science, or its equivalent

Required Skills:

* 8+ years of experience with Python, Perl, C/C++, Java, or Ruby on a Linux or a Unix based OS

* 8+ years of experience working with Internet protocols including TCP/IP, HTTP, and DNS

* 8+ years of strong expertise with building scalable servers or distributed systems

Desired Skills:

* Eligible to obtain a security clearance

* Strong team collaboration and team-oriented problem resolution skills

* Proven track record of overseeing or delivering large amounts of high-quality and complex code

* Highly responsible, self-disciplined, self-motivated, able to work effectively with a high degree of autonomy

* Extensive experience in juggling multiple deliverables across disparate projects in an advisory or individual contributor role

* Experience working in regulated environments, such as government, financial, or health care

* Excellent written and verbal communications skills

* Experience with databases and SQL

* Experience with network security and technologies such as GPG, SSL, SSH, and PKI
