Architect
Applicants must meet one of the following education and experience requirements:
* 5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree in CS or its equivalent or
* 4 years of relevant experience and a Master’s degree in CS or
* 2 years of relevant experience and a PhD in CS
Required Skills
4+ years of experience with Linux or a Unix-based OS.
* 2+ years of experience working in large design efforts and coordinating with project teams
* 2+ years of experience with common Internet protocols (IP, TCP, SSL/TLS, HTTPS, DNS)
Desired Skills
* Master or PhD degree in Computer Science or related field with a focus on networking, distributed systems, system architecture, and/or security
* Experience with highly scalable distributed systems and databases
* Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and negotiation skills
* Experience with Python, Perl, C/C++, or Java on Linux or a Unix-based OS.
* Experience with secure applications, libraries and/or network security technologies such as GPG, SSL/TLS, SSH, PKI
* Highly responsible, self-disciplined, motivational, creative and confident
* Ability to communicate design rationale and build consensus
* Ability to prioritize and manage work to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment
* Experience with production network authorization & authentication systems
* Experience with network systems in an enterprise environment
* Broad breadth of knowledge in the areas of operating systems, security, and Internet systems
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively
