Basic Qualifications
∗ Fully qualified lawyer admitted to Bar Council in India.
∗ Minimum of 5 post-qualification years of legal support or similar experience in private practice or in-house.
∗ Strong contract drafting and negotiations skills in English.
∗ Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
∗ Experience in telco and technology sectors.
Desired Qualifications
∗ Excellent analytical, negotiation and contract drafting skills in a variety of technology and/or licensing agreements, including software and/or managed service offerings.
∗ Solid working knowledge of international commercial contract law, corporate law, competition law, software licensing, privacy and data protection and intellectual property rights.
∗ Astute commercial awareness, robust time and project management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
∗ Solid experience in the Internet, IT or telecommunications field, ideally with a mix of law firm training and/or substantial in-house experience.
∗ Excellent written and oral communication skills, including a clear and concise drafting style.
∗ Solid experience providing legal support to Sales personnel.
∗ Ability to multi-task and provide follow-through on projects.
∗ Project management skills, a plus.
∗ Additional verbal and legal drafting skills in a language other than English, a plus.
∗ Flexibility to work with colleagues and internal clients located in diverse regions of the world.
∗ Enjoy working for a very fast paced team.
