Data Engineer II

Required Education and Experience 

* Minimum 2 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering or its equivalent.

Required Skills

* 2+ years development experience on analytics platform Tableau

* 2+ years of experience working with varied forms of data infrastructure inclusive of Oracle, MemSql, Salesforce 

Desired Skills 

* Demonstrated experience delivering actionable insight for a consumer business.

* Strong communication skills to be able to work with business owners to develop and define key business questions and to build data sets that answer those questions, as well as to convey key insights from complex analysis in summarized terms

* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal 

* Demonstrated strength in data modeling, ETL development, and Data warehousing. 

* Experience working on machine learning using Java/Python.

* Strong written and verbal communication

* Ability to thrive in a fast pace work environment supporting multiple projects for a variety of stakeholder’s subject to rapidly changing priorities.

* Experience with a cloud BI platform.

* Hands-on experience in one of the big data technologies would be a plus.

* Hands-on experience with any API platform would be a plus.

* Experience with ETL and data modelling.
