Required Education and Experience
Applicants must meet one of the following education and experience requirements:
* 3 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree or
* 2 years of relevant experience and a Master’s degree or
* 1 year of relevant experience and a PhD
Required Skills
* 3+ years of experience in data mining with various tools
* 3+ years experience building sophisticated statistical models
* 3+ years experience with Python/pandas and R
Desired Qualifications
* Proficient in SQL
* Working knowledge of Big Data storage solutions and the issues associated with extracting data from them
* Demonstrated practical experience with machine learning algorithms
* Experience with Hadoop, Map/Reduce, Hive or equivalent software
* Experience communicating insights from complex data to non-technical
audiences
* Experience with time series analyses and anomaly detection
algorithms
* Proven success executing multiple parallel projects
