Data Scientist

Required Education and Experience
* 5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or Computer Engineering or its equivalent or

* 3 years of relevant experience and a Master's degree 

Required Skills
* 2 years of experience with MATLAB, R, NumPy or an equivalent scientific computing language 
* 1 year of experience with SQL
* 2 years of experience with a scripting language such as Python or C

Desired Skills
* Experience working with large data sets
* Experience in the end-to-end data analysis pipeline, including data gathering, data cleaning and standardization, problem framing and hypothesis generation, inference, and presenting results to multiple levels of decision maker
* Demonstrated skill presenting complex models or analysis to less technical audiences
* Experience with performance, safety, and reliability engineering
* Understanding of networking and Linux/UNIX systems
* Proficiency with business analysis and technical development
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, and a demonstrated history of high-level achievement in cross-functional organizations
* Demonstrated ability to organize and present information in a consistent and compelling manner
* Self-starter comfortable working either collaboratively or independently in a diverse and fast-paced environment
* Strong work ethic and positive attitude
