Developer Evangelist..

Basic Qualifications

• Education: BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, Networking or  equivalent.
• Experience as a software architect, evangelist, product manager or other role where both technical and social skills are required.
• Experience in designing or defining mobile app & web-based software systems and frameworks.
• Experience programming of APIs in a combination of the following: Java or C# with exposure or experience in other leading web application languages like PHP, Ruby, Python and JavaScript.
• Experience and track record in social/digital media via blogging, tweeting, writing technical articles or participating in discussion boards - preferably with an existing follower base.
• Experience speaking in front of large groups.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Desired Qualifications

• Good understanding of Akamai products and services.
• Self-Motivated to learn new things, and share what you learn both internally and externally
• Working experience with different infrastructure architectures, including cloud solutions like AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
• Experience with large group communications and presentations both at developer and executive levels
• Experience working in a consultant capacity, or a track record of helping fellow developers.
• Proven success discovering customer issues, and quantifying needs
• Knowledge of common Internet technologies, standards and protocols, including DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS.
• Working knowledge of APIs / Data formats JSON, and online code repositories like GitHub
• Knowledge in cellular technologies such as LTE, 3G, UMTS, etc.
• Keep up with the happenings in the industry, evolving customer needs.
• Experience with iOS or Android development is a plus
• Good personal interaction skills, and ability/willingness to get integrated with existing developer communities in the region
