DevOps Engineer II
Required Education and Experience
*BA/BS in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
*2+ years of relevant work experience in software development.
Required Skills
*2+ years experience with Linux and Linux networking.
*2+ years experience with a scripting language: Python or Bash.
*1+ years experience with Kubernetes.
*1+ years experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, Travis, gitlab ci).
Desired Skills
*Experience with container technology (eg: docker), microservices and service meshes (eg: istio).
*Experience with Go.
*Knowledge of PKI concepts (public / private keys, signing, trust).
*Experience with deployment/configuration management tools (e.g. Ansible, puppet, chef, fabric).
*Experience with Monitoring/Logging/Performance Analytics (e.g.. Logstash/Kibana, DataDog, Splunk, FluentD).
*Experience operating fault-tolerant distributed systems (e.g. Redundancy, Availability Zones, Data Reliability).
*Experience with SQL and noSQL database technologies such as PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, or Cassandra.
*Experience using public cloud (e.g. AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure).
