Required Education and Experience
Applicants must meet one of the following education and experience requirements:
* 12 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent or
* 10 years of relevant experience and a Master’s degree
Desired Skills
* Experience partnering with major cloud providers.
* Broad network with industry leaders and decision makers.
* Industry experience in software or technology in both a large multi-billion company and/or in a higher growth mid-cap is a plus.
* Ability to “see around corners” to anticipate future trends, new market transitions, and incorporate customer feedback that enable long-term business success.
* Extensive business and technical acumen and global experience with a sustained record of business aligned strategies and solutions that drive improved business performance.
* Highly collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively in a matrixed environment and build successful relationships with various stakeholders.
* Provides clear and effective leadership even in tough or crisis situations, creates alignment and sustained motion towards a common cause. Takes unpopular stands if necessary; encourages direct and tough debate but isn't afraid to end it and move on, faces adversity head on; energized by tough challenges.
* Experience attracting, hiring, retaining, and developing high-performing teams and individuals. A motivating executive who is capable of instilling excitement and inspiring others and has a history of building and leading best-in-class teams by creating loyalty, trust, and commitment.
* Possess outstanding organizational and leadership skills - strong written and oral communication skills, interacts and is highly respected by employees at all levels, and who treats people with respect. Experience interacting, presenting, and influencing senior executives. Can deal comfortably and effectively with senior management. Understands expectations and needs unique to senior management; tailors communication content, delivery and style accordingly.
* Ability to project how potential ideas may play out in the marketplace, is good at bringing the creative ideas of others to market and has good judgment about which creative ideas and suggestions will work.
* Ability to effectively manage balance between conflicting ideas or goals. Demonstrates agility in thought processes and actions to effectively manage both short-term and longer-term goals.
* Strong planning, operational and analytical skills.
