Basic Qualifications
* Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
* Overall experience: 7+ years of software engineering experience.
* 4+ years of experience leading engineering teams or projects.
* 3+ years of experience with C/C++, Python, Perl, and Databases/SQL.
* 3+ years of experience developing software in a Linux or Unix environment
* 3+ years of experience working with Internet protocols including TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, and TLS/SSL.
* 3+ years of strong expertise with building scalable servers in distributed environments
Desired Qualifications
* Masters or Ph.D in Computer Science or related field with a focus on networking, distributed systems, system architecture, or security
* Extensive experience working on multiple projects in a fast-paced, results oriented environment.
* Strong organizational and communication (both written and verbal) skills.
* Experience and skill supporting technical operational and user communities.
* Experience developing secure applications, working with network security architectures/libraries, and integrating with technologies such as GPG, SSL, SSH, PKI
* Highly responsible, self-disciplined, self-managed, self-motivated, able to work with little supervision.
