Engineering Manager - Net Storage

Required Education and Experience:
* 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelors degree or
* 6 years of relevant experience and a Masters degree or
* 3 years of relevant experience and a PhD

Required Skills:
* 8+ years of production Software Development experience.
* 5+ years of experience with various Software Development methodologies.
* 5+ years experience with C/C++
* 3+ years experience managing Software Engineering or Operations teams.

Desired Skills:
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to collaborate and work well with others at all levels in the organization.
* Must be self-directed and detail oriented.
* Desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic and team-focused environment.
* Highly responsible, self-disciplined, motivational, creative, and confident.
* Understanding of Internet protocols, including IP, HTTP, TCP and DNS.
* Desired experience with secure transfer methods TLS and SSH
* Desired experience with SQL and NOSQL databases.
* Required understanding of load balancing
* Required experience developing or managing distributed systems software
* Proven ability to multi-task with a focus on tracking, results and reporting.
