Finance Manager..

Required Education and Experience

*12 years of relevant experience and a BS/BA degree or 8 years of experience with an Advanced degree
 

Desired Experience

* Progressive finance experience in a growing and fast paced company.
* Experience in public accounting or corporate finance.
* Experience in operations management or equivalent experience supporting the business as a finance partner.

Desired Skills

* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Demonstrated leadership ability and initiative.

* Demonstrated ability to manage tight deadlines and prioritize workloads with a high degree of accuracy in a fast-paced environment, preferably technology.
*Ability to spot trends in financial data to use in future forecasts
* Self-starter with understanding and creativity of business modeling, ability to question, learn, and discern the underlying economics of new ideas and opportunities.
* Aptitude and desire to learn about Akamai products, financial systems, and best practices.

* Experience with Hyperion is a plus.
* Experience working with large amounts of data and summarizing for executive level reviews.
