About the Job

This position is a key role within the Platform Division Finance team providing financial analysis & reporting of business results. It is an opportunity to work closely with cross functional stakeholders to drive understanding of business results through analytics, business insights and regular reporting of financial results. This role requires an individual who can identify, prepare and implement process improvements. This position will partner closely with Finance Planning & Analysis, Corporate Accounting, other Business Unit finance teams along with Platform Division. Key responsibilities will include monthly and quarterly financial reporting, forecasting, as well as participating in the preparation of the annual planning cycles. This position will also be responsible for forecasting, building models for ROI analysis on business decisions and perform analysis related to various P&L areas, including Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), Operating Expenses and Capital Expenditures (CapEx).


• Prepare financial projections for key planning sessions including the Strategic Plan and Annual Operating Plan

• Support the monthly & quarterly Network CapEx and Network COGS financial forecast processes with analysis of key metrics and reporting financial results 

• Work closely with key partners with the broader Finance teams and supporting Platform Division leaders by preparing critical analyses of business results (variance analysis, trend analysis, key metrics, ROI analysis, etc.)

• Participate on cross-functional teams focused on process improvement and improving operational efficiencies

•Implement financial modeling and reporting improvements to enhance process efficiency and support new initiatives

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related experience is required

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in a related Finance Role

• Minimum 3+ years of experience performing financial and ad hoc analysis using data reporting tools

• Minimum 3+ years of experience using Excel & Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint & Word), including financial modeling

• Ability to translate large amounts of data into useful information and actionable priorities•Strong English written and verbal communication skills

• Successfully lead projects and process improvements in a cross functional environment

• Curious, self-starter who consistently takes initiative to address questions and build new processes and structures

• Flexible; able to successfully work independently as well as contribute towards a team’s success

• Ability to lead small projects and assignments; comfortable working through complex areas and handling change

• Strong time management skills; ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and under tight deadlines

• Excellent interpersonal skills; can effectively interact with people across multiple levels of the organization and is very comfortable working cross functionally

• Being a graduate of a Financial Leadership Program is a plus

• Familiarity with Hyperion, Oracle is a plus

• Ability to work across a geographically dispersed organization

• Experience with developing reporting for senior management and providing strategically valuable analyses

• Ability to interpret data, develop quantitative business assumptions, and provide logical and measured conclusions, forecasts, and recommendations

• Demonstrated ability to manage tight deadlines and prioritize workloads with a high degree of accuracy in a fast-paced environment

• Experience with analytics tools such as Tableau and Excel Power along with querying language such as SQL, Excel macros and Query
