Akamai Legal is a highly-experienced global team of professionals dedicated to advancing Akamai's business interests and next phase of growth, while simultaneously protecting its assets and reputation. We embrace the challenge of working at the intersection of rapid innovation and regularly evolving laws. The Legal team currently consists of over fifty professionals located around the world.

As a participant in our program, you will gain valuable experience and contribute through meaningful project work. You will have the opportunity to join us for training, networking events, and engagements with company leadership.

Partner with the best

You will work closely with our Legal team supporting and advising internal stakeholders on different legal matters.

As a Legal Intern, you will be responsible for:

• Researching existing and upcoming regulations, specifically in the EU; reading and summarising those regulations that may impact Akamai
• Supporting preparing presentations
• Supporting and coordinate simple tasks related to day-to-day corporate work when required
• Participating in various ongoing projects related to the implementation of different regulations supporting our team where needed

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Be a student of a law program
• Be organized, articulated and with the ability to work with minimal supervision, to multi-task and provide follow-through on projects
• Have good verbal and written communications skills in English
• Have the ability to prioritize in a fast-moving environment
• Be comfortable working with multiple cross-functional legal teams, and have a willingness to learn new practice area
