Learning Strategist
Basic Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in engineering, science, English, or technical writing discipline.
● 5+ years of experience designing and developing online and instructor-led courses by working with SMEs using the instructional design process.
● Exceptional writing and editing skills. 5+ years of experience editing or writing about technical or complex subject matter.
● 3+ years of experience working collaboratively with SMEs.
● Exceptional communication skills
● Excellent technical writing skills.
● Strong graphic design skills.
● Ability to take complex technical material and transform it into easy to understand and engaging online courses, documentation, and instructor-led course materials.
● Strong understand of adult learning theory and ability to apply it to the design and development of training materials.
● Strong ability to identify content gaps in material and the corresponding questions to ask in order to obtain the needed information.
● Exceptional ability to build and maintain collaborative working relationships with SMEs and stakeholders.
● Experience with multi-media based authoring tools such as Articulate 360 and Captivate.
● Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously that involve coordinating the work of multiple stakeholders.
Desired Qualifications:
● Master’s degree in English, Technical Writing, Instructional Design, or Journalism.
● Experience with UNIX-based operating systems.
