The Marketing Designer is a creative problem solver who is responsible for driving the visual design strategy and creative execution for the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and marketing department. This individual will have the ability to easily transform technical/complex content into digestible visuals for presentations, blog posts, email, and other collateral that communicate clearly and effectively to any audience.

The role is a critical part of the CMO and marketing department communications efforts and requires the ability to create designs that tells stories that engage, educate, and captivate an audience.

  • Work with the Chief Marketing Officer and Marketing Chief of Staff to drive the design for internal marketing collateral, like executive presentations, data visualizations and infographics 
  • Execute design problem from end to end, from initial concept through completion
  • Have a close and collaborative partnership with the Brand & Creative team to concept and design materials that ensure consistency of the brand 
  • Be highly iterative in your design approach with significant experience in testing and experimentation
  • Act as a strategic advisor to help executives hone digital presentations, with the ability to listen to executive level feedback and execute; or make changes including pushing back
  • Move and iterate quickly while incorporating stakeholder feedback
  • Take initiative to problem solving and proactively seek out opportunities to build repeatable processes and templates that can be replicated throughout the Marketing org (e.g. email templates, standardizing PowerPoint content, etc.)
  • Prioritize and lead projects in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment
  • Help manage visual internal communications vehicles, like: Marketing Digest, Marketing Employee Spotlight and Marketing Excellence Awards
Required Education and Experience
  • 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree or
  • 6 years of relevant experience and a Masters degree.

Required Skills

  • 6 years of experience working in a high growth marketing environment creating innovative solutions and demonstrating end-to-end design that show cases creative storytelling and messaging.
  • 5 years of experience working with and influencing executive leaders.
Desired Qualifications
  • Strong foundation in the fundamentals of design and a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to transform technical / complex datasets and content into digestible presentations, data visualizations, infographics visuals that communicate clearly and effectively to any audience
  • Strong project management and time management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively on multiple projects in a fast-paced team environment
  • Familiarity with marketing and the business of marketing
  • Ability to communicate clearly and share knowledge openly and transparently 
  • Proficiency in Google slides & PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite
  • Jive platform, video and/or animation experience, a plus
