We are looking for a Network Expense Management Invoicing Administrator Associate to assist in the effective operations of the Invoice Administration team, while maintaining successful relationships with Akamai Vendors, Account Managers, and the Finance department.

As a Network Expense Management Invoicing Administrator.Associate you will be responsible for:

  • Support the Network Expense Management Invoicing Team to ensure all new invoices from various sources are captured and moved through the workflow. 
  • Accurately QA and review vendor invoices and ensure proper controls are in place before sending to Accounts Payable for payment. 
  • Ensure all invoices and required documentation from various sources are captured and moved through the workflow.
  • Assist in the accurate review and audit vendor invoices and ensure proper processing for payment. 
  • Maintain, with high level of integrity, all Network Invoicing data in Akamai’s databases, spreadsheets, and documentation.
  • Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries.
  • Maintain operational processes to support greater workflow and management efficiencies.
  • Assist in special invoicing projects as assigned.
About The Team

The Network Expense Management Team is part of Supply Chain Management and is responsible for the management and coordination of Akamai’s Network Contracts and Network Invoices. The team is also responsible for the development of internal controls, execution and compliance against these controls, negotiations with key vendors across the globe in dispute resolution, tracking of issues, and ongoing analysis and reporting. In addition, members of this team act as key business partners assisting the Network Strategy and Deployment teams to successfully manage the various Network contracts and invoices.
Qualifications

Applicants must meet one of the following education and experience requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or its equivalent or equivalent experience.
Required Skills
  • Strong analytical skills, financial and operational.
  • Excellent problem solving skills.
  • Ability to perform highly detailed work with accuracy.
  • Resourceful and takes initiative.
  • Exposure to foreign currencies.
  • Strong MS Office programs skills, especially Excel. 
  • Exceptional communication skills, written, and verbal.
  • Strong inter-personal skills including comfort working with international constituents.
  • Ability to manage projects to closure. 
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Account Mangers and Finance department.
Desired Skills
  • Some knowledge CDN industry jargon preferred.
  • ERP experience, exposure to Siebel Sales and Oracle a plus.
