You Have
- BS in Computer Science/Engineering or related field or commensurate experience
- 2-4 years of hands-on
network/server HW experience.
- Verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to plan and execute projects.
- Layer 2 troubleshooting skills and basic layer 3 concepts.
- Basic knowledge of Unix/Linux command-line interface (CLI).
Great to Have
- Familiarity with routers and managed switches.
- Should be experienced in large-scale data center hardware deployments and building scaling infrastructure.
- Knowledge of Networking concepts such as IP addressing, DHCP, VLAN, Internet Protocols like TCP/IP and DNS.
- Ability to anticipate risk and plan contingencies.
- Exposure to project management.
- Comfortable with Linux and hardware systems support in an Internet operations environment.
- Additional languages skills such as Japanese, Korean or Vietnamese would be well regarded
