Required Skills

  • Outside Security Sales/Channel Sales experience, preferably in support of National System Integrators, consulting firms, or Cloud Service Providers.
  • Successful Channel Sales experience in the high tech field.
  • Ability to travel 30-50%.

  • Ability to successfully recruit new partnerships based on Akamai’s partner value proposition.
  • Build business plans which drive new routes to market.
  • Strong negotiation, solution-selling and presentation skills.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Specialized knowledge of managed services, business application networking environments, data networking security and performance based solutions.
  • Successful sales track record and quota achievement in both direct and indirect sales roles.
  • Highly motivated Self-starter.
  • High focus on quality and discipline in every aspect of the job.
