Performance Engineer
Required Education and
Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in
Computer Science, Electrical Engineering
Required Skills
* Minimum of 1 year
experience in C/C++ programming or Perl scripting for Linux and Windows
operating systems
* Minimum of 1 year
experience with Networking protocols such as DNS, TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, SSL and
routing protocols such as BGP/OSP Fand application-level protocols (overlay
routing and Peer-to-Peer file sharing protocols)
* Minimum of 1 year
experience of Data Analysis (analyzing data to look for exceptions and
patterns)
Desired Skills
* Advanced technical
skills in troubleshooting and problem resolution for a content delivery
environment
* Advanced programming
skills in C/C++ programming or Perl scripting for Linux and Windows operating
systems
* Working knowledge of
Hadoop and familiarity with other distributed data analysis frameworks
* Thorough
understanding of distributed systems, network routing, Internet principles and
statistical data analysis
* Solid oral/written
communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
