Performance Engineer II

Required Education and Experience
Applicants must the following education and experience requirements:
Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of relevant work experience

Required Skills
* 3+ years of experience analyzing complex systems.
* 3+ years IT operations or software engineering experience supporting SaaS application infrastructure.
* 3+ years of experience in systems administration of modern Linux distributions, especially RHEL, CentOS and Ubuntu.
* 1+ year of TCP/IP, HTTP, and DNS protocols.
* 1+ year of database availability and performance tuning concepts.
* 1+ years of experience scripting in bash, python or another language.

Desired Skills
* Experience setting up monitoring on Linux systems, either using in house or commercial toolsets.
* Excellent oral/written communication skills.
* Hands-on experience with Cloud Providers (e.g. AWS, Google, Azure)
* Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL or similar database backends.
* Knowledge of security and/or compliance best practices.
* Should be a self-starter and adopts good time management.
* Analytical and has outstanding problem solving skills.
