Platform Operations Engineer

Required Education and Experience:

Applicants must meet one of the following education and experience requirements:

* 2 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree or

* Relevant experience and a Master’s degree

Required Skills

* 1 year of experience designing and administering a monitoring and reporting solution in a high availability environment.  

* 1 year of experience working with Linux and/or UNIX system administration

* 1 year of experience working with of SQL and Database systems

* 1 year of experience working with of TCP/IP in internetworking/WAN data communications.

* 1 year of experience working in Perl/Python Scripting

Desired Skills

* Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational skills, and a demonstrated history of high-level achievement in cross-functional organizations.

* Previous experience in working with massively distributed systems

* Experience acting as an Escalation point and/or Trainer for complex technical systems.
