Platform Operations Engineer II

Required Education and Experience:

* 5 years of experience and a Bachelor's Degree in a scientific or technical field, or 8 years of equivalent network operations experience. 

* 3 years of experience and a Master’s Degree in a scientific or technical field, or 8 years of equivalent network operations experience. 

Required Skills: 

* Minimum of 5 years’ Linux/UNIX experience 

* Minimum of 5 years’ expertise in detailed debugging, log analysis, and trouble-shooting 

* Minimum of 4 years’ experience with large-scale content distributed systems 

* Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an operations or technical support environment 

Desired Skills:

* Excellent communication skills, with experience in explaining complex technical content 

* Experience handling urgent situations 

* Meticulous attention to detail 

* Technically creative and able to learn 

* Highly self-motivated, self-disciplined, and able to work independently 

* Excellent mentorship and leadership skills
