Required Education and Experience:
* 12 years of relevant experience and a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or it's equivalent or
* 8 years years of relevant experience and a Masters degree in Computer Science or it's equivalent or
* 5 years of relevant experience and a PhD
Required Skills
* 12+ years of software quality and/or development engineering experience overall
* 8+ years of experience in Server-side SQA and scripts/test automation development engineering experience
* 8+ years of hands-on experience with UNIX/Linux Operating System
* 5+ years of hands-on networking experience including HTTP, DNS, and TCP/IP Networking Protocols
Desired Skills
* Education: Master’s Degree or greater in Computer Science
* Strong Analytical Skills, attention to detail and Excellent Problem Solving/troubleshooting skills
* Highly driven, positive attitude, team player, self-motivated and very flexible
* Excellent Communication and Influence Skills
* Perl/Object Oriented Perl, Python, Selenium and/or shell scripting skills is a great plus
* Experience with Linux internals, large-scale/distributed Systems testing
* Experience working with media streaming technologies a plus: Flash/RTMP/HDS, HLS/HTTP Streaming, Silverlight/Smooth Streaming/HSS, encoding technologies (H.264/ACC, VC1, and VP6)
