Principal Software Engineer - Cryptography

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience
Applicants must meet one of the following education and experience requirements:
* 12 years of relevant experience and a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or similar Engineering, Scientific, or Mathematical field or
* 8 years of relevant experience and a Masters degree in Computer Science or similar Engineering, Scientific, or Mathematical field or
* 5 years of relevant experience and a PhD in Computer Science or similar Engineering, Scientific, or Mathematical field

Required Skills
* 10+ years of experience programming in Rust, Go, C/C++, Ruby, Swift/Objective-C, or Java
* 8+ years of experience building scalable web and native applications
* 5+ years of experience developing software with cryptography and security best practices

Desired Skills

* Experience developing cryptographic applications
* Self driven with experience leading architecture
* Experience designing and building authentication systems using applied cryptography
* Experience developing network applications
* Experience designing and building web-based APIs and libraries
* Experience designing and building SDKs and Frameworks
* Experience with native development on Windows, macOS, iOS and/or Android is a plus
* Experience with web-based security and JavaScript
* Knowledge of U2F, WebAuthn/FIDO2 authentication standards
* Experience developing highly distributed and fault-tolerant client/server systems
* Ability to reason about and troubleshoot complex systems
* Desire to work in a fast-paced, results oriented team
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
