Required Education
- Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree;
- or 6 years and a Master’s degree;
- or a PhD with 3 years experience; or equivalent experience.
Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years experience working with software development teams on mission critical systems.
- 3+ years experience with technical project or program management.
- 2+ years experience managing complex programs across teams and geographies.
Desired Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills and the ability to work effectively across a wide range of constituencies.
- Demonstrated ability to grasp new technical concepts quickly.
- Exceptional oral and written communications skills.
- Internet or software engineering industry experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience working in a fast-paced matrix technical organization.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and with a close-knit team under tight deadlines while responding to changing business and technical conditions.
- Experience with both waterfall and agile software development methodologies.
- Experience with industry standard SDLC tools, including Confluence and Jira, is a plus.
