Program Manager, Strategy & Communications
Required Education and Experience
* 3 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s Degree
* 2 years of relevant experience and a Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or MBA
Required Skills
* 3+ years of experience in a leadership facing role requiring excellent written and verbal communications skills
* 2+ years of experience working in a fast moving, high tech environment in a project or program manager role
Desired Skills:
* Ability to articulate and present ideas effectively
* Experience building and executing effective communications plans
* Analytical curiosity and aptitude
* Exceptional organization and prioritization skills with close attention to detail
* Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple tasks, and track details in a fast-paced environment effectively and efficiently
* “Self-starter” personality with ability to self-motivate
* Dedicated team player, comfortable working in a large, complex and highly matrixed organization
* Personal champion of the Akamai brand and team culture where values such as excellence, hard work, service to stakeholders, honesty, integrity and achievement are paramount
* Experience with Jive Software
* Video creating and editing skills
* Experience with SalesForce and project management tools
