Python Software Engineer

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

●Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related field

●Minimum of 3 years development experience on Linux/ Unix platforms

●Minimum of 3 years experience with programming in Python and/or Perl

●Minimum of 2 years experience developing code used in production

●Proven track record of delivering high quality, complex code

●Experience with version control systems (e.g., git, Perforce, cvs etc.)

Desired Qualifications

●Experience managing full stack web application deployments

●Highly responsible, self-disciplined, self-managed, self-motivated, able to work with little or no supervision

●Extensive experience working on multiple projects at a time in a fast paced, results oriented environment

●Excellent written and verbal communications skills

●Experience working with Internet protocols including TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS

●Development experience with Object-Relational Mappers (ORM) such as SQLAlchemy
