Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
Applicants must meet one of the following education and experience requirements:
* 2 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or its equivalent or
* Relevant experience and a Master’s degree in Computer Science or its equivalent
Required Skills
* 2+ years of software quality, product testing and/or development engineering experience
* 2+ years of experience in Server-side SQA and scripts/test automation development engineering experience (i.e. Python, Perl, Java, shell scripting)
* 2+ years of hands-on experience with UNIX/Linux Operating System
* 1+ year of hands-on networking experience including HTTP, DNS, and TCP/IP Networking Protocols
Desired Skills
* Strong written and verbal communication
* Knowledge of/experience with testing of distributed systems, large networks, and cloud infrastructure
* Practical experience configuring and running virtual infrastructure including hypervisors, virtual machines, and virtual routers
* Highly driven, positive attitude, team player, self-motivated and very flexible
* Practical or academic experience with Linux internals
* Practical or academic experience with client-server testing
* Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and excellent problem solving/troubleshooting skills
