QA Engineer Senior Lead - Dynamic Media

Basic Qualifications

·    Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

·    2+ years of Leading, mentoring and growing SQA teams

·    6+ years of software quality and/or development engineering experience overall

·    4+ years of experience in Server-side SQA and scripts/test automation development engineering experience

·    4+ years of hands-on experience with UNIX/Linux Operating System

·    4+ years of hands-on networking experience including HTTP, DNS, and TCP/IP Networking Protocols

·    Strong Analytical Skills, attention to detail and Excellent Problem Solving/troubleshooting skills

Desired Qualifications

·    Education: Master’s Degree or greater in Computer Science

·    Highly driven, positive attitude, team player, self-motivated and very flexible

·    Excellent Communication and Influence Skills

·    Perl/Object Oriented Perl, Python, Selenium and/or shell scripting skills is a great plus

·    Experience with Linux internals, large-scale/distributed Systems testing

·    Experience working with media streaming technologies a plus: Flash/RTMP/HDS, HLS/HTTP    Streaming, Silverlight/Smooth Streaming/HSS, encoding technologies (H.264/ACC, VC1, and VP6)
