Senior Release Engineer

Basic Qualifications

* Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.

* Overall Experience:   8 – 10 years or equivalent experience.

* Minimum 2 years of experience with Enterprise Application Administration, preferably in SaaS applications.

* Minimum of 5 years of experience in running a release process group, as a release engineer, deploying enterprise applications and defining the release lifecycle.

* Minimum of 4 years managing a team of release engineers, preferably a team size of 2 or more

* Lead and mentor the team to deliver a high standard release process and also manage and enforce the best practices that are defined.

* Good Unix/Linux knowledge.

* Experience with RDBMS and SQL, preferably in Oracle.

* Strong verbal/written skills.

Desired Qualifications

* Training in Quality Processes like ISO/CMM.

* Exposure to SaaS systems like Salesforce.com

* Experience with scripting in Perl, Python etc.
