Required Education and Experience
Applicants must meet one of the following education and experience requirements:
• 8+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree in CS or equivalent or
• 5+ years of relevant experience and a Master’s degree in CS or equivalent
Required Skills
● 5+ years of software architect/design experience
● 2 years experience developing software using a secure software development lifecycle
● 2 years experience communicating clearly and effectively verbally and in writing to both technical and business audiences
● 5+ years experience with Java, Javascript and/or Python programming languages.
● 2 years experience with cryptography and security standards.
● 2 years experience with common application security issues and remediation.

● Highly responsible, self-disciplined, motivated, creative, and confident.
● Understanding of cloud native development patterns (micro-services, statelessness, service registry, service discovery, etc.)
● A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, cross-browser compatibility, authentication schemes (e.g. OAuth, OpenID), general web functions and standards.
● CCSP Certification
● Successful completion of web security challenges such as those on HackThisSite.org, OWASP’s Web Goat, or Google’s Gruyere.
● Familiarity with security technologies, processes, and concepts such as symmetric and asymmetric cryptography, TLS, Authentication and Authorization, Static Code Analysis, penetration testing methods
