Required Skills
* JD from an ABA accredited Law School
* Admitted to Massachusetts or other relevant Bar
* 7+ years of experience practicing law, ideally with both law firm and in-house experience
Desired Skills
* Extensive experience reviewing, negotiating and drafting strategic agreements such as acquisition agreements, joint venture agreements, strategic alliance agreements and investment documents
* Business-focused approach to providing counsel to internal clients that balances appropriate legal risk assessment with advancement of the overall goals of the company
* Strong project management skills; ability to provide guidance and direction to a cross-functional team in the execution of M&A transactions, investments and other significant transactions
* Significant securities law compliance and '34 Act drafting experience
* Thorough understanding of Delaware corporate law, corporate governance requirements and best practices
* Basic understanding of other functional areas including Intellectual Property, Technology Licensing, Real Estate and Commercial Contracts
* Pro-active, self-motivated and highly organized, with experience managing multiple projects and completing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
* Complex judgments, in-depth analysis (business and legal), interpretive thinking and the ability to independently develop innovative solutions
* Strong communication and influencing skills to persuade others internally and externally
* Ability to partner effectively with other departments and senior leadership
