Senior Data Scientist

Required Education and Experience Applicants must meet one of the following education and experience requirements: * 5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree or * 3 years of relevant experience and a Master’s degree or * 1 year of relevant experience and a PhD Required Skills * 5+ years of experience in data mining with various tools * 5+ years experience building sophisticated statistical models * 3+ years experience with Python/pandas and R Desired Qualifications * Proficient in SQL * Working knowledge of Big Data storage solutions and the issues associated with extracting data from them * Demonstrated practical experience with machine learning algorithms * Experience with Hadoop, Map/Reduce, Hive or equivalent software * Experience communicating insights from complex data to non-technical audiences * Extended experience with time series analyses and anomaly detection algorithms * Proven success executing multiple parallel projects Other Information: * Is relocation available for this position: No * Is US Citizenship required: No * Is a Security Clearance Required: No If yes, applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation & must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
