Senior Distributed Systems Architect

Required Education and Experience
Applicants must meet one of the following education and experience requirements:
* 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or its equivalent or
* 6 years of relevant experience and a Master’s degree Computer Science or
* 4 years of relevant experience and a PhD Computer Science

Required Skills:
* 8+ years of software development using C++ or Java
* 6+ years of software architecture and design experience 
* 4+ years of experience with protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP and HTTP

Desired Qualifications
* HTTP Streaming (HLS and DASH)
* Cloud security and efficiency
* Media delivery workflow
* Peering Technologies
* Reliable UDP Protocols
* Strong written and oral communication and consensus building skills
* Strong organizational and analytical skills
* Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and troubleshooting skills to solve complex design problems
* Highly driven, hands-on, self-motivating, self-learning team player with a great can-do attitude
