Senior Lead Software Engineer II - Protocol Optimization

Required Education and Experience
Applicants must meet the following education and experience requirements:
* 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree
* 6 years of relevant experience and a Master's degree
* 3 years of relevant experience and a PhD

Required Skills
* 8+ years of development experience in C/C++.
* 5+ years of experience with Internet protocols, including TCP, UDP, DNS, and HTTP
* 5+ years of experience with multi-threaded cross-platform development

Desired Skills
* Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
* Good orientation in Linux, macOS, and Windows
* Strong communication and organizational skills
* Expertise with multi-threaded cross-platform development
* Passion to understand, learn and evaluate new technologies
* Proficiency with common scripting languages such as bash, perl, javascript, and/or python
* Prior experience in mentoring and/or leading a team
* Solid background in writing secure code and code signing
* Strong problem solving and technical troubleshooting skills, attention to detail
