Description

The Senior Field Marketing Manager is responsible for driving demand and building the brand through the implementation of a marketing strategy and tactics focused on meeting the revenue targets for the JAPAN region for the Web Business Unit (FSI, E-Commerce, Manufacturing, Government).

The person will manage a small team locally.

 

Responsibilities

* Design and successfully deliver field marketing programs and activities as part of the plan that leverage the full marketing mix including integrated multi-touch programs, event marketing, direct marketing, digital and channel marketing

* Work closely with Japan Sales management to develop field marketing strategy and plan that aligns with corporate, regional and Japan sales goals and includes agreed and measurable targets and objectives

* Support and execution of a revenue centric country marketing plan, ROI objectives, tactics, budget and schedule by segments:

·       Prospect marketing (database management, campaigns, lead generation & tracking, etc.)

·       Customer marketing (cross-sell/upsell and engagement campaigns, case studies etc.)

* Manage the follow up, nurturing and flow of marketing qualified leads to sales to meet marketing contribution targets and maximize the return on investment

* Measure and analyze marketing program success and report on program metrics. Provide regular status updates against the agreed Japan marketing targets and objectives to Sales and Marketing Management

* Working with the global and regional marketing team to collaborate on programs and to obtain economies of scale by localizing programs. This can include quarterbacking across the entire global marketing team (product marketing, web, PR, online, campaigns etc.) to ensure high quality and timely campaign execution.

* Work closely with the APJ and Global digital marketing teams to inform and execute on any digital campaigns needed for the region.

* Successfully manage Japan marketing budget. Also Integrate and collaborate with Corporate Marketing, Product Marketing and Marketing Operations teams


Qualifications

* Skilled marketing professional with 10+ years of relevant experience. Bachelor's Degree required.

* Experience in Enterprise B2B software or services marketing

* Experience in people management

* Fluent in Japanese and at least Business level in English

* Deep understanding of events, demand generation and revenue attribution

* Proven success in working effectively with sales and product teams

* Real passion for building campaigns and pipeline

* Ability to thrive in a collaborative, results-driven team environment, with the ability to build positive win-win relationships

* Self-motivated, disciplined, pro-active, independent and likes to work in cross-cultural teams.

* Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to understand business and technology messaging

* Excellent campaign management, budget and scheduling expertise

* Wide understanding and experience in various marketing tools

* Strong marketing vendor negotiation and management skills
