Senior Manager of Software Engineering in Test

Required Education and Experience:
* 10 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree or
* 8 years of relevant experience and a Master’s degree
* 5 years of relevant experience and a PhD

Basic Qualifications:
* 10+ years of experience in system software testing and QA disciplines
* 6+ years managing QA automation teams
* 6+ years developing white-box API automation frameworks with Python/Java/C++, HTTP, TCP/IP
* 6+ years of experience in Linux/Unix based server environments
* 4+ years working with Agile methodologies
* 2+ years of experience managing engineering managers

Desired Qualifications
* Familiarity with streaming protocols that include HLS, MPEG-DASH, and HDS
* Hands-on skills that span networks, systems, software stacks, and applications
* Experience programming in Python
* Experience leading performance testing teams and developing performance test frameworks
* Passion to understand, learn, and dissect new technologies quickly
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Self-motivated, proactive, results driven, and passionate about technology
* Experience working with remote teams
* Accustomed to a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
