Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
Applicants must meet one of the following education and experience requirements:
- Relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent or
Required Skills
- Excellent negotiation skills: has a flair for goal-focused commercial and contractual negotiations and the ability to identify creative ideas for complex negotiation situations.
- Comfortable working in multinational/multicultural environments.
- Technical skills: Solid knowledge of the technical aspects of global and regional EMEA networks, excellent data analysis skills, understanding of how to manage complex technical projects
- Excellent organization skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills and a desire to negotiate partnerships within technical and business constraints.
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Willing to travel
Desired Skills
- Relevant work experience, including technical and commercial knowledge of operator network topology and architecture, IP routing, and CDN platforms, as well as experience working in a IP network planning or implementation role at an ISP, IX, telecoms operator, carrier or CDN.
- Ability to develop long-term business relationships with C-Level business and technical staff at major providers.
- Business Development skills as well as Technical sales experience in the data network or telecommunications industry as either a pre-sales engineer or a sales executive.
- Fluency in at least another European Language other than English
