Join Our Global Partner Enablement Team

Join a truly global Partner Enablement Team and work alongside Regional Channel Managers (RCM) and Partner Account Executives (PAE). We will be pushing initiatives to ensure our partners are trained and enabled to identify, position, scope and sell Akamai solutions. You'll be working with a small team of Partner Sales locally and report to a Manager based in the region.

Be Part of One of Akamai's Fastest Growing Teams

Your role will be critical in the evolution of our indirect business' scaling and accelerated growth. Through a combination of coaching, technical solution selling and program management, Akamai's Partners will be enabled to sell Akamai's portfolio more effectively than ever before. You will be enabling our partners to understand the advantages of our market-leading Akamai products across CDN, Web Performance, Cyber Security and Enterprise Security. You will be fostering technical relationships through virtual and in-person meetings such as presentations and regular cadences. Working closely with the Channel Sales team, you will be defining a joint go-to-market strategy that will ensure combined Akamai and partner success.

As a Partner Enablement Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting training and enablement workshops for a partners sales, pre-sales and architect teams
  • Defining a partner-specific enablement plan based on the combined Akamai and partners sales strategy
  • Collaborating with the Channel Sales team to manage partner progress and success against the enablement plan
  • Maintaining and updating your Akamai expertise across all of product portfolio
  • Becoming a trusted advisor to our strategic partners and a partner advocate across Akamai

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Masters degree of science or Masters in business administration
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a customer or partner-facing environment, such as technical pre-sales, account/project management, or consulting
  • Have experience working in the cybersecurity, cloud, enterprise, or networking technology
  • Be able to present complex and technical material to varying audiences virtually and in-person effectively
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • Fluent Japanese with business level competency in English
  • Demonstrate an excellent track record of developing and enhancing meaningful relationships at all levels of the business
