Required Education and Experience
Applicants must the following education and experience requirements:
* 6 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree Computer Science or its equivalent
Required Skills:
● 6+ years of experience in operations or system administration
● 3+ years of experience working with Unix/Linux systems
● 3+ years of experience working with networking protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, etc.)
● 2+ years of experience building and maintaining SQL scripts and complex queries for data analysis and extraction
● 1+ year of experience in one or more scripting languages (Python, Perl, shell)
● 3+ years of experience with internet protocols such as DNS, HTTP, and SSL
Desired Skills:
● Master’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
● Strong written and verbal communication
● Able to work independently
● Experience with the operational support of Internet-scale systems
● Proven ability to combine technical knowledge, logic, and analysis to effectively solve problems in a large complex production environment
● Effectively communicate and collaborate with remote teams
● Self-motivated with a consistent drive towards results
● Project management experience.
● Proven leadership skills in a challenging, fast-paced and evolving environment
