Senior Product Manager - Enterprise Application Access

Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following education and experience requirements:   

* 12 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent or  

* 8 years of relevant experience and a Master’s degree or  

* 5 years of relevant experience and a PhD    

Required Skills 

* Minimum of 8 years prior experience as a product manager for a product sold into the Enterprise IT market in one of the following areas or similar to: Remote Access, Next Generation Firewall ,Cloud security, Identity management, Networking, Mobile Device Management, Device posture  Assessment  

* Minimum of 5 years prior experience with agile software development    

Desired Skills  

* Demonstrated ability to engage in deep technical conversations with development engineers  

* Demonstrated, strong verbal and written communications skills and ability to translate technical features into business benefits  

* Demonstrated ability to influence outcomes and defend your professional opinions to others particularly when you are in the minority  

* Experience managing cloud services sold to enterprise customers  

* Understanding of enterprise security best practices and technologies.  

* Experience in selling technologies around device posture and device management  

* Situational fluency, ability to influence and motivate others, and perseverance to handle challenging business situations.  

* Experience working in a fast paced agile environment with multiple remote teams  

* Desire for on-going challenges and interest in continuously learning about new business practices and technologies.  

* Passion and vision around current trends and market evolution in Enterprise IT  

* Familiarity with Akamai products and services
