Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience
Applicants must meet one of the following education and experience requirements:
* 5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or its equivalent or
* 3 years of relevant experience and a Master’s degree in Computer Science or its equivalent

Required Skills
* 5+ years of experience developing or testing network software applications
* 3+ years of experience developing automation in Python
* 3+ years of hands-on experience with internet/security protocols such as: TCP/UDP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, SSL, TLS, IPSec.
* 3+ years of experience working in a Linux/Unix environment

Desired Skills
* Experience with Internet security, firewalls, and encryption technologies
* Experience with testing large scale, distributed systems.
* Experience with one or more agile approaches and ceremonies from: scrum, kanban, lean, extreme programming
* Experience with BDD or TDD methodologies
* Familiarity with test tools and continuous integration systems, such as Jenkins
* Strong problem solving and technical troubleshooting skills, attention to detail
* Willingness and flexibility to switch between multiple high priority assignments
* Strong written and verbal communication
